This Stock Pot is ideal for the slow, gentle simmering of beans and chili as well as soups and stocks.  It includes a heat-tempered glass lid with an adjustable steam vent.

Swiss Diamond XD cookware is made of cast aluminum for even heat distribution and is guaranteed to never warp. The cooking surface combines real diamond crystals with a high quality non-stick composite for superior cooking performance.  It is Oven-safe up to 500°F (260°C).

XD is the latest, most advanced diamond-reinforced nonstick cookware line to date.  It is produced by using a new coating formulation developed in Switzerland.  The result is a significantly tougher cooking surface with even better food release properties.
