Bertie County Peanuts | Smoky San Souci Peanuts

Manufacturer: Bertie County Peanuts | SKU: 128-905

Bertie County is home to the slow moving and deep, Cashie River. Settlers dealt with this body of water by building canals, bridges, and ferries on it. Today only one ferry remains in the county, and it is one of the few one car, cable driven ferries still found in North Carolina. The location is known as Sans Souci, or "without worry.” This delightful smoky, hot peanuts are named in honor of that place on a slow moving river. So, sit back and enjoy a bit of Bertie County!
